Behavioral Health & Wellness
It may feel like mountains are obstructing your path to achieving well-being. That first step may feel too hard. Remember, no mountain is too big to overcome. When you feel ready to embark on your journey, I welcome the opportunity to work collaboratively in assisting to strengthen your emotional well-being and improve coping. I invite you to pave your path.
Together, we will pave your path forward. Within psychotherapy I use a person-centered approach, drawing upon personal traits of strength and resiliency, which are also grounded in both evidence-based treatments and a holistic perspective. Treatment is integrative and tailored to each individual and their personal needs. Evidence-based treatment approaches that can be used include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), Problem-Solving Therapy (PST), with inclusion of Mindfulness, Self-Compassion, Loving-Kindness, and/or Meditation practices. I believe that within therapy we can:
- Create a space to learn and develop practical tools.
- Increase awareness of how our body informs our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and use that as a guide to develop self-regulatory skills and/or process trauma.
- Nurture the development of insights that effectively guide us through life’s challenges achieving personal growth.
I understand that therapy can be challenging work to undertake. At Centered Peak Behavioral Health & Wellness, I am dedicated to supporting you on your journey toward personal growth and lasting emotional well-being. My goal is to create a space grounded in trust and safety, while cultivating an environment where you feel seen, valued, understood, and respected. My commitment is to provide compassionate and collaborative care as we explore the moments you bring into our sessions and use them as opportunities to enhance your fortitude, embody your power, and foster positive growth.
